How do I arrange a consultation?

Call our office or request a call or email using the form above. We will discuss whether a consultation is the right next step and help you arrange an appointment. Making an inquiry does not commit you to a consultation.

What does an initial consultation involve?

An initial consultation is scheduled for up to one hour. We discuss the principal issues, potential options and next steps. Where appropriate, document review forms part of that time. Further legal services require a separate agreement, and no particular result can be guaranteed.

Can we meet by Zoom or outside regular business hours?

Consultations are available in person or by Zoom. After-hours and weekend appointments may be available by prior arrangement, subject to availability. Our offices are in Toronto (North York) and Mississauga, and we serve clients throughout Ontario.

What should I prepare?

Our office will explain which documents and information are useful for your appointment. Please wait for intake instructions before sending confidential documents or a detailed account of your matter.

What if I have an approaching deadline?

Call our office to explain the timing. Do not rely on an online inquiry to protect a deadline or assume that we have accepted your matter until arrangements have been confirmed.
